Hsieh Chia-Hsiu

Born in 1999 in Miaoli, Taiwan, Hsieh Chia-Hsiu works primarily with Chinese calligraphy as her creative medium,
spanning calligraphic art, visual lettering, art education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

With 19 years of experience in Chinese calligraphy and 9 years in art education, she holds a B.F.A. from the Department of Fine Arts, National Taichung University of Education. She is a recipient of the Arts Education Award and the First Prize of the Lin Zhi-Chu Scholarship.

Her practice explores the possibilities of calligraphy within contemporary visual culture, branding, cultural projects, and interdisciplinary contexts.
