Description

《Still Standing at the Edge》為《未消失|Not Disappearing》系列的第一件作品。 Still Standing at the Edge is the first piece in the series Not Disappearing. The work portrays a solitary figure standing at the edge of a quiet body of water, surrounded by mist and distant light. The cool color palette and atmospheric space create a sense of calm tension. The piece reflects a moment when a person stands at the boundary of emotional exhaustion, where sadness approaches but disappearance has not yet occurred. Layered graphic lines and fragments of text drift across the image, representing the movement of thoughts and inner dialogue, leaving space for viewers to interpret the emotional landscape in their own way.

Artist Introduction

Hello~~~~

I'm a Taiwanese–Vietnamese mixed heritage artist currently studying Visual Communication Design at Asia University.
My practice spans hand-drawn illustration, digital painting, and graphic design, blending illustrative language with painterly sensibility and structured graphic composition.

Originally studying in a general academic program during high school, I decided to pursue art and design in her final year. This transition gradually shaped art-making into a way of exploring personal identity and observing the world.
My works often emerge from everyday observations and emotional experiences. Landscapes, water, and human figures frequently appear as metaphors, creating quiet spaces that reflect moments of vulnerability, persistence, and connection.
