Description

On the seemingly vibrant and dreamlike island, there floats a multitude of inseparable nuclear waste and survival issues. Human demand for energy continually drives exploration and development, ranging from thermal, hydraulic, and wind power to solar and nuclear energy. Faced with the dilemma of environmental degradation versus economic development, how should humanity choose? Should it be an island of happiness or one filled with radiation? This is not an easy decision, requiring a reevaluation of humanity's foresight and values for the future. Is the pursuit of short-term economic gains prioritized, or is there a commitment to establishing a sustainably developed island? Alternatively, is the choice a path filled with radiation and danger? This decision necessitates collective efforts and wisdom from the global community. Through technological innovation, the promotion of green energy, and global cooperation, we may find a balanced path between economic development and environmental protection, constructing a future that is both prosperous and sustainable.

Artist Introduction

Department of Visual Arts National Chiayi University Specializing in flat painting with oil and acrylic as mediums. Fond of using vibrant colors and employing block-like compositions. During my undergraduate years, I focused on mixed media, and my inspiration often came from observing the little things in life. The themes of my creations revolved around recording my own experiences and the surrounding environment. After graduation, I sought to explore new mediums and returned to the flat painting that I had been consistently learning. Combining the knowledge of oil painting acquired during university, I aimed to develop a new language of art. Painting has been a continuous learning journey for me since childhood. Through my creations, I aim to persist in this pursuit throughout my life. The theme of my artwork stems from dreams, expressing the depths of the heart, where emotions lie dormant but poised for release. Embarking on a journey to pursue dreams, the essence of home—vibrant and colorful—remains unforgettable.
