Artist Introduction
1973年生。林建為傳統實力派畫家，自2001年起赴黃河寫生，即被大河氣勢所震懾。每當黃河壺口秋風乍起，林建也被吸引到這裡，住進黃土高原裡的窯洞，回歸極簡生活，心更能與自然相通。
「師古、師今、師自然」道盡其創作心境，他畫出氣勢磅礡的黃河魂，也畫出天地豁達的歷史情，五千年五千米五千里的淘洗澄濾……。「黃沙滾滾金印象 氣勢磅礡雕細微」成為林建黃河獨樹一幟的藝術風格。
旅居紐約中國知名作家暨藝評家易水寒評其作品：「由自然的雄健之美，到感動驚歎的心靈之美，昇華到領悟深致的哲學之美。」被譽為「近代畫黃河作品中成就佼佼者」。
