紅䴉賀囍＿The Eudocimus ruber Congratulations （珠寶畫）

寶石畫的創作主題「紅䴉賀囍」，兩隻火紅的美洲紅䴉在金色樹梢，繁茂的葉片代表大地回春，萬物復甦，一隻紅䴉張開扇形的翅膀，以美麗姿態拾獲寶物，另一隻安穩休憩在枝頭，迎接新年來到。 材料部份我以24K純金箔為樹幹枝椏，呈現閃亮的光澤。挑選紅碧璽、紅玉髓、紅石榴石、紅瑪瑙、草莓晶為紅䴉的紅色羽色，不同寶石的顏色深淺更為立體生動。 並使用綠色葡萄石、橄欖石和東菱玉做繁茂樹葉的呈現，紅䴉喙中刁著一顆溫潤橙色的阿拉善寶石，比喻喜獲至寶，慶賀之意，再以黑碧璽做黑喙和羽尾點綴。其餘部份以白水晶、藍月光石、雲母片、礦物顏料…等入畫。 During a trip in Central and South America, I saw a group of birds wearing red robes flying across the sky. In addition to admiring their distinctive red color, they were so enthusiastic and unrestrained. They were also deeply attracted by their beauty. Later, I discovered that this bird was called” Eudocimus ruber '', it is an extremely rare and rare bird in the world, and it is also one of the endangered species of birds. The most notable feature is that the overall feathers are red, and the tail of the wings has a blue-black luster, and the black beak is slender and gracefully curved. They like to forage in groups on beaches, lagoons, mangroves and swamps, and roost overnight in large trees in the swamps. Because of their high-pitched calls, their entire body, including feathers, legs and toes, are red. They are the "redest" vocal tenors of birds and animals. But what is interesting is that their red color is acquired. The red pigment comes from the favorite food "red crab" and is absorbed through the diet to add color. However, if the Eudocimus ruber cannot eat red crab, it will appear off-white. Eudocimus ruber are also born dancers. When they soar in the air, they have slender necks and slender legs, and their tail feathers spread like a fan and swing up and down, gracefully gliding across the sky. Today it is only distributed in parts of the coastal areas from Colombia to Brazil in Latin America, and can be found in Argentina, Bonaire, Brazil, Colombia...etc. "Jewls Painting" is an unique creation that I am self-taught, because after learning about gemstones and getting in touch with various gemstones, I know that the ores that have been stored underground for millions or even billions of years have to be excavated, polished and cut into beautiful gems. It is even more difficult to give new designs, so I use the unique characteristics of natural gemstones and combine them with artistic creation, not only for breakthroughs and innovations, but also for the beauty and artistic value of gemstones to be seen again. The creation is "Eudocimus ruber Congratulations", with two fiery red birds as the protagonists to celebrate happy events, presenting the graceful posture of the birds, inhabiting the hidden woods but unable to hide their dazzling, scattered branches beside them , adding beauty to the lines, and highlighting the contrasting red of Eudocimus ruberthe with full of green. One soars with its wings spread, and the other rests peacefully on a branch behind. The two red birds are quiet and moving, one is far and the other is close, one big and one small, making the painting more balanced and harmonious. Combining gemstones with paintings not only makes the works more three-dimensional and shining, but also the unique beautiful colors and stone patterns of natural gemstones also fully demonstrate the unparalleled beauty. Their unique natural beauty elevates the level of artworks, and gemstones and paintings complement each other. The gem part is carefully selected by me. It took several days by hand under the table lamp. From tens thousands of gemstones, I slowly screened out the gemstones with relatively high clarity and color, which are relatively good and suitable for creation. Red gemstones of different shades are used as the main color, including red agate, carnelian, strawberry crystal, red garnet, and red jasper, showing the red color of birds. In addition, the branches are made of expensive 24K gold leaf to present the shiny trunk, and various green gemstones such as olivine, dongling jade, and previne are used to enrich the layers of the leaves, expressing lush greenery and rejuvenation of the earth. One of the red birds its fan-shaped wings and flies in the air, picking up treasures in a beautiful posture, which is a metaphor for the meaning of "congratulations to the treasure" and the meaning of celebration. In its beak is a warm and bright orange Alashan rocks (Gobi colored agate) representing the treasure, and the brightly colored orange gemstone is specially selected for the finishing touch. The black beak and feathers are embellished with black tourmaline. The rest are painted with Brazilian white crystal, blue moonstone, mica flakes, mineral pigments, etc. To complete this gemstone painting that praises the Eudocimus ruberin in the form of art, I was very moved when they were presented in front of my eyes, and I worked day and night to create it, except for the time-consuming and eye-consuming selection of gemstones, and the patient and delicate manual reproduction. In the end, the lifelike Eudocimus ruber and more than 10 kinds of colorful gemstones jointly performed the beautiful and ingenious play "Eudocimus ruber Greetings", which made me, the director, very amazed and praised, because gems are valuable, but art is priceless.
