海龜-寬恕之環/ Turtle - Forgiveness

海龜-寬恕之環，是一件關於慈悲、體諒、自愛、自制力的作品。海洋生物都向上吊掛，不是很舒服的一種表現，此件作品利用廢紙重新製成，廢棄物對環境污染與破壞，是與所有生命一起承擔的共業。沒有人真心想傷害其它生命，但社會運作中有許多不得已，即使能做的有限，不僅需要原諒自己與他人，更需要提醒自己，我們都是生活在地球上的共體，願一同往改進、重生中前進。 Turtle - Ring of Forgiveness is a work about compassion, consideration, self-love and self-control. Marine life is hanging upwards, which is not a very comfortable performance. This work is made from waste paper. The pollution and damage caused by waste to the environment is a common cause shared by all life. No one really wants to harm other beings, but there are many unavoidable choices in the operation of society. Even if what we can do is limited, we not only need to forgive ourselves and others, but we also need to remind ourselves that we are all living in a community on the earth and are willing to improve together. Move forward in rebirth. 作品主體雕塑為廢棄之再生紙漿捏塑後，乾燥後再上彩壓克力，最後再塗以亮光漆完成。包括海龜、熱帶魚群，海龜刻意做了可活動的關節，可以變動姿勢。熱帶魚使用鉤針方式懸掛在草環上，也可以與觀眾互動來變化位置。其他素材為芒草編的編環、台東撿拾的白化珊瑚碎塊、小樹枝、各種乾燥果實、各種乾燥花、以及天然貝殼等等。都是自己慢慢撿拾、蒐集而來的素材。只有兩個大貝殼不是自己撿的。 The main sculpture of the work is kneaded from discarded recycled paper pulp, dried and then painted with acrylic, and finally painted with varnish to complete. Including turtles and tropical fish, the turtles are deliberately made with movable joints so that they can change their postures. The tropical fish are suspended from a grass ring using a crochet method and can also change position by interacting with the viewer. Other materials include braided rings made of miscanthus, fragments of bleached coral picked up in Taitung, twigs, various dried fruits, various dried flowers, and natural shells, etc. They are all materials that I slowly picked up and collected. There were only two big shells that I didn't pick up myself. 草環以三股編編製，用麻繩綁起來懸掛。整個草環背後使用了鋁線作為支撐，保持草環的形狀和穩定度。複合媒材作品，大量的天然素材，從陸地到河邊、海洋都有，也象徵了自然不限定區域，而是整體，也是循環。海龜和熱帶魚嘴部都以羊角勾做懸掛的連結，以向上的姿態呈現，象徵了靈魂與生命的演化方向，也是釣魚、表示收穫的一種姿態，對照人為與自然的關係，反思和衝突。 The grass ring is braided with three strands and tied with hemp rope for hanging. Aluminum wire is used as a support behind the entire grass ring to maintain the shape and stability of the grass ring. The composite media works use a large number of natural materials, ranging from land to rivers and oceans, which also symbolizes that nature is not limited to areas, but is a whole and a cycle. The mouths of sea turtles and tropical fish are connected with horn hooks as hanging connections, and are presented in an upward posture, symbolizing the evolutionary direction of the soul and life. It is also a gesture of fishing and harvest, contrasting the relationship between man and nature, reflecting on and conflicting.
