Jürgen Eckey 1957 born in Münster (Westphalia), Germany 1967 - 1977 attendance at the humanistic Wilhelm Dörpfeld Gymnaium in Wuppertal 1978 - 1985 studied Latin, German and Ancient Greek in Münster; member of the student drama group 1985 - 1987 Pedagogical and practical training as a teacher at Johannes Althusius Gymnasium in Emden and Studienseminar Leer (Eastern Frisia) 1987 - 2009 teacher at the high school in Lohne (Lower Saxony), head of the theater group, qualification as a teacher for performing arts, member of two art clubs. Qualification for teaching German as a foreign language at Goethe Institut 2009 - 2014 teacher for German as a foreign language at the college in Kalisz (Poland) and at the Juglas vidusskola in Riga (Latvia). Beginning of artistic activity in 2010, self-taught studies 2014 - 2019 teacher at the high school “Gymnasium In der Wüste” in Osnabrück, responsible for German lessons for migrants and for European affairs Since 2014 several master classes with the artist Sybille Hermann Since 2016 publications of pictures in the journal “Artist Window”, exhibitions in Baden Baden, Rome and Verona
