In this dream, I was an Egyptian princess witnessing the goddess Satit's floodwaters engulfing everything in sight. The deluge inundated the pyramid, sinking it into the Nile River and forming an inverted pyramid—symbolizing the collapse of civilization and a profound transformation. This flood represented the fusion of natural and mythical forces, bringing forth destruction while also nurturing new possibilities. In the painting, a golden semicircle symbolizes the power of the sun god Ra, whose light continues to shine upon Egypt even after the catastrophe. As the floodwaters recede, Ra's golden rays once again illuminate the land, bringing new life and awakening countless beings, embodying hope for the future. The inverted pyramid signifies a reversal of time and history, yet the sunlight assures that the forces of life and rebirth remain ever-present. This piece captures the delicate balance between destruction and renewal, illustrating how calamity can lead to rebirth. The receding floodwaters give rise to new life, symbolizing the continuation of hope and limitless possibilities ahead.
