官思岑（Kuan Sze-chen），1976 年生於台灣高雄。跨越時尚設計與視覺藝術的創作背景，形塑了她獨特的視覺語言。

她以率性而具穿透力的線條、強烈色彩與微觀的怪誕美學，描繪人像，也剖開人像。透過油彩、壓克力與炭筆，在具象與抽象之間，她將情緒化為形體，讓人際關係中隱而未現的控制、依賴、抗拒與拉扯，赤裸地浮現。

她不迷戀表象，也不急著給出答案。對她而言，色彩是情緒的爆發，形體是內在的顯影，而繪畫，是穿透人心的方式。

那些畫裡的矛盾與不安，不只是她的。當觀者凝視作品，也可能在某個眼神、某道線條或一片色彩裡，猝不及防地看見自己。

畫裡的人不只是被觀看的對象，也可能成為觀者照見自己的入口。 它讓你的作品不只是談情緒，而是帶有一種直視人性、讓人無法完全置身事外的力量。

**Artist Profile**

Kuan Sze-chen (b. 1976, Kaohsiung, Taiwan) holds a degree in Economics from National Taiwan University, a Master’s in Visual Arts and Technology from NYU, and a degree in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design. Drawing on over twenty years of experience in fashion, industrial design, and styling, she brings a sharp visual sensibility and a distinctive understanding of contemporary identity to her art.

Her work is instinctive, raw, and penetrating, marked by bold lines and a microscopic grotesque aesthetic. Working in oil, acrylic, and charcoal, she creates emotionally charged figures that oscillate between the figurative and the abstract. Beneath their vivid colors and distorted forms lie the contradictions of human relationships—love entangled with control, intimacy shadowed by resistance, and the constant struggle between connection and separation.

For Kuan, color is emotion made visible, and the human figure is a vessel for the psychological forces that shape us. Rather than depicting appearances or telling fixed stories, she exposes what lies beneath the surface, inviting viewers to confront their own contradictions and recognize fragments of their lives within her work.

Instinctive, psychologically penetrating, and emotionally confrontational. It also avoids explaining your work too literally, leaving room for the viewer to enter it through their own experiences.

官思岑（Kuan Sze-chen）は、1976年、台湾・高雄生まれ。ファッションデザインとビジュアルアートを横断するバックグラウンドを基盤に、独自の視覚言語を築いている。

直感的で鋭い線、強烈な色彩、そしてミクロなグロテスク美学を通して、彼女は人物を描くと同時に、その内面を剥き出しにする。油彩、アクリル、木炭を用い、具象と抽象のあいだを行き来しながら、感情を形へと変換し、人間関係に潜む力——支配、依存、抵抗、そして人を遠ざけながらも引き寄せる緊張——を浮かび上がらせる。

彼女は表面的な美しさにとらわれず、安易な答えを提示することもしない。彼女にとって、色彩は感情の噴出であり、形態は内面の露呈であり、絵画は人間の心理を深くえぐるための手段である。

作品に描かれた矛盾や不安は、彼女だけのものではない。鑑賞者は作品と向き合うなかで、ある眼差し、一本の線、あるいは色彩の広がりのなかに、思いがけず自分自身を見いだすかもしれない。
